A couple weeks ago we went to "the ballet", well actually a recital.
I was really disappointed, I mean really, really disappointed.
I was so excited to see these adorable dancers.
You might say I was too excited!
We were the only ones there...
We were 2 weeks early!
Today's the day, I double checked!

Sounds like you are great fan of ballet, I think it all happened just because of overexcitement. But the good news is that you are well aware about the day this time around.
