Please join The Barn House Family for a beautiful day in the country. We have invited 30 of the best collectors, decorators and designers from the West Coast. This will by far be our largest event to date, including over 20,000 square feet of THE BEST in vintage & antique home decor.
Plan on staying the day with us. We have two amazing food vendors, live music, and some of our favorite local beers and wines available for your pleasure. We will also have an on-site ATM machine this year!! Please note, many of our vendors accept credit/debit cards, but several only accept cash/check.
This is a celebration! Come for the treasures, for the friends, for the hugs, for the inspiration and all the love and kindness that will be circulating in the air.
It's going to be one BIG Barn House Party!
We are very excited to announce that we have even more than on-site parking this year than ever! THERE IS NO STREET PARKING. Please respect the safety of our neighbors by not parking on the street. It is very dangerous and you will likely be towed.
OH, and there are a couple of other events that you won't want to miss just minutes from us. Heisen House Vineyards is hosting their 3rd Annual Lavender Festival. Plus, our vintage collecting sisters down the road are hosting a Vintage Gathering. There are also a couple of antique stores right in downtown Battle Ground (Main Street Station and Rusty Glamour). AND, only 30 minutes away are our homes away from home...Camas Antiques, Monticello Antique Marketplace, Thea's Vintage Living and Madison Park Antiques.

Picture This

I have been wanting to make a camera strap for my camera.

  I can’t remember how long I have been going to try and do free motion stitching.  Last month at Art Camp, Ruth Rae wore this amazing dress she’d made which is covered with free form stitching.

I’m Ready for Spring

The flowers begin to bloom and time seems to fly. 

I planted these lilacs about 15 years ago, they were suppose to pink but since it was about 4 years before they bloomed, I couldn’t very well return them..

I really wanted pink but these smell so wonderful, I have gotten over my disappointment in the color (mostly) and it’s a good thing since I planted 6 of them…

I love these sweet peas that Terri Brush used for Art Camp decorations last week.

   How about these great flowers, decorating the goodie bags for art camp?

That Must Be Applause

After who knows how long, I finally opened an Etsy Shop.

  I realize I am not the first person to do this, maybe there were even 300,000 + before me… But still, YIPPEE!

I love to agonize over the tiny little details, look at all the options and take as long as humanly possible to do the projects that other people do without a second thought.  I even figured out how to put that fancy little “Mini Etsy” on the side bar.  If I said it took 4 hours to do that, who would believe it?

Sometimes even I have a hard time believing it…

We have had the most beautiful weather the past couple of days.

Just a couple more days of sunshine and the Star Magnolia will be in full bloom!

I  spotted a little nymph in the yard.

Well… there is this tiny little window when they are ready, before they are over ready… 

And there is only a few (and I mean few) days that it is not pouring down rain.

Naturally all the “good ones” are at the top of the tree.

Yes, I think I hear applause…

It’s been a rewarding week indeed!
