I’ve had time to work on my Word for the Year.
I figured out what YEAR it is
I even fixed the bulletin board,
I guess I just got a little ahead of myself…
I’m working my way around the studio getting all my favorite things lined up and dusted off.
This shelf sits on my work table.
A close up view.
I spend a lot of time thinking about, why do I like what I like? I get why I like glitter, I get why I like random pearls, but I have to wonder why I like the corks???
Then you might be wondering about the old snuff bottle?
Might be one of the “WISHES” in the little metal book that Terri Brush taught me to make?
Could it be I have a secret longing to use tobacco??
Just a little pinch between your lips and gums…
Tobacco or glass glitter??? One seems about as likely as the other…
I never know when I might want to “freshen up” just a bit.
I like to have that Precious Pink lipstick at my finger tips…
It is nice to have somewhere to display your projects.
This might explain why I never have a clue what time it is…
Joy . . . I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this post . . . love it . . . you just made my day!! :) . . . xoxo - liz

I love corks too. After all, they are things that were created for a purpose and it's such a shame to throw them away. Soon there will very likely be no more corks as we have known them; just rubber ones and now glass toppers. Then there are the bottles with screw open lids. So corks are falling into their own collectible corner. Hooray for those corks!
ReplyDeleteLovely shelf, my dear!
Your studio is so amazing! Hope you have a wonderful 2011.

Hi Sweetie,
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful studio supplies, so fun! I have to tell you that the beautiful necklace that my daughter Sarah bought from you at Ruffles in Rust is something she wears almost every day. She gets so many compliments on it and everyone wants to know where she got it : ) Can't wait to see you again.
