Remnants of the Past

There have been times when I look forward to something with great anticipation and excitement, I  leave thinking “hmmm, not quite what I was hoping.”  I must say this was certainly not the case with this amazing show.  My expectations were exceeded! It was such an outstanding event, from behind the scenes magic of organizing and advertising, the set up schedule, clear through loading out.

All I can say is, I’m pretty sure I was transported to “The Land of Oz” and Judy Watkins is the most beautiful and talented Wizard of all.

If you ever get the chance to participate or attend her event, this is something you do not want to miss!

I wish I had hundreds of pictures to share, but I was too busy taking it all in to think about a camera.  I did have the foresight to snap a couple of my booth.

Looks like Dave is thinking, “how did all this fit together??”

Wait a minute lets put a few more pieces to the puzzle, then it will be a bigger challenge!

It was a short 12 hours later and we were ready!

It was a total pleasure being part of this amazing show.

  1. Wow, your space looked fantastic! It's so interesting, lots to look at but not overwhelming! Love it!

It's an inspiration for me on how to set up my own area at my monthly barn show!

I hope it was a success!

  2. Your booth was incredible! So nice to chat with you Joy and I hope to see you again.....soon....maybe while we cook, lol.
    Ciao for now Rita mammabellarte

  3. Of course your booth looks there could be any other way. I'm sooo glad you had a good time, if anyone deserves it sweet girl, it's you:)

  4. I didn't get to see your booth but i know from history that it was overflowing yet somehow completed organized. it is a gift you and dave have when you team up:) it sounds like it was quite the show! p.s. when i read your comment on my blog this morning i wanted to run right over and tell you i was thinking about you the whole time i was writing it knowing you understand better than anyone what i am talking about! but the difference is my chorus keeps me unable to work and you just go on and shove your chorus out of the way and get on with it!
    xo miss you too

  5. Oh Joy, I am soooo sad I missed you at the show! I bought some things from your booth, and just realized from your pics it was your booth! Was your husband there checking people out on a big cash register?? I would have loved to give you a big hug! Hope the show was fabulous for you, I su had fun. See you next time for sure!! Riki

  6. It was such a honor to have you at my show Joy. I have followed your blog for quite some time so to have you at the show. Yippee!!! Hope to see you and Dave soon! xoxo Judy
