It is such a pleasure and honor to work with Judy Watkins and her “people”.
Judy is beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the most organized, thoughtful and hardest working people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  Every detail is covered, every concern is addressed, every person is valued.  Judy is at the event center when the vendors arrive, greeting and assisting.  She will be there when we are leaving sweeping and waving goodbye, still smiling and looking beautiful.
Check here to see the wonderful additions she has made to this years show, that I know will be amazing.
We are looking forward to seeing those of you that can make it to either one or both of these incredible shows.

Coburg Antique Faire

Our bags are packed, we are getting ready for the

 25th annual Coburg Antique Faire.

If you read the above flyer you will notice early shopping starts at 4am..

All the cool shoppers will have head lamps…

Seriously there are shoppers at 4am,  some of us antique types are a little over zealous.

We are taking a BIG trailer full of treasures, and I have been working on new jewelry.

You can now find my jewelry at Ruffles and Rust Square

You can find these there

I made another board, for the initial charms to take to Coburg.

The best part of fall is the great shows we will be attending.

I hope to see you bright and early Sunday morning!!

Loving Summer

A lot of people will say,
Fall is their favorite season,
Some will admit that Spring is their first choice.
I claim Summer!  Love everything about it!
Outdoor dining.
The fun summer sales!

Really looking forward to the 5th Barn House Flea Market!!

Here is a note from Joe and Jermonne that I would like to share with you!
Please join The Barn House Family for a beautiful day in the country. We have invited 30 of the best collectors, decorators and designers from the West Coast. This will by far be our largest event to date, including over 20,000 square feet of THE BEST in vintage & antique home decor.
Plan on staying the day with us. We have two amazing food vendors, live music, and some of our favorite local beers and wines available for your pleasure. We will also have an on-site ATM machine this year!! Please note, many of our vendors accept credit/debit cards, but several only accept cash/check.
This is a celebration! Come for the treasures, for the friends, for the hugs, for the inspiration and all the love and kindness that will be circulating in the air.
It's going to be one BIG Barn House Party!
We are very excited to announce that we have even more than on-site parking this year than ever! THERE IS NO STREET PARKING. Please respect the safety of our neighbors by not parking on the street. It is very dangerous and you will likely be towed.
OH, and there are a couple of other events that you won't want to miss just minutes from us. Heisen House Vineyards is hosting their 3rd Annual Lavender Festival. Plus, our vintage collecting sisters down the road are hosting a Vintage Gathering. There are also a couple of antique stores right in downtown Battle Ground (Main Street Station and Rusty Glamour). AND, only 30 minutes away are our homes away from home...Camas Antiques, Monticello Antique Marketplace, Thea's Vintage Living and Madison Park Antiques.
Much Love,
Joe & Jermonne

Which Way Did They Go?

First they went North,

our booth at Ruffles and Rust.

Bet you didn’t know I could sketch like this…

Truth is I can’t but, with the help of Picasa’s tool it’s a miracle!

We love this show, what a great venue.

Jay and Timi here (with Kris in the middle,)

do all the extras that make this show a pleasure to do.

Deb, from Garden Girl and Patricia of Tippy Stockton Jewelry

Beautiful flowers from Deb’s garden.

Ruffles and Rust is the show that is the furthest north that we do.

Next week we will be heading back to San Luis Obispo, California to

Remnants of the Past

Which is the most southern show that we do.

Here Dave and I, with Judy Watkins the show’s producer at the fall show.

The up side of have been doing shows for several years,

Picture This

I have been wanting to make a camera strap for my camera.

I can’t remember how long I have been going to try and do free motion stitching.  Last month at Art Camp, Ruth Rae wore this amazing dress she’d made which is covered with free form stitching.

I couldn’t wait,

If your wondering, how to take a picture of your camera strap..

If only I had thought to take the picture BEFORE, I attached the strap…

So very excited for the sunshine that is out today!

The flowers are so pretty,

Even though the flower beds are neglected…

Like most of the dealers I know, I will be out painting and cleaning on this beautiful Spring day.

We are excited to start packing for Ruffles and Rust

It is a great show, hope to see you there!

I’m Ready for Spring

The flowers begin to bloom and time seems to fly.

I planted these lilacs about 15 years ago, they were suppose to pink but since it was about 4 years before they bloomed, I couldn’t very well return them..

I really wanted pink but these smell so wonderful, I have gotten over my disappointment in the color (mostly) and it’s a good thing since I planted 6 of them…

I love these sweet peas that Terri Brush used for Art Camp decorations last week.

How about these great flowers, decorating the goodie bags for art camp?

Beautiful flowers everywhere at the Spring Garden Show at Monticello.

Who wouldn’t enjoy having this in their yard?

Besides enjoying the flowers.

We are busy getting ready for our Spring Sales we are doing.

Next week we will head north to Monroe, Washington for

Ruffles and Rust

The first weekend in June we will be heading south for

Remnants of the Past

Hope to see you there!
